Is this for real?

According to their website, they say, "You have NOT heard of this before. This is an entirely new way in America to make your own fuel from vegetable oil that takes only minutes".  Their site goes on to state...

The DSE system requires no engine conversion

There are several manufacturers of conversion kits and thousands of individuals building their own. The conversions essentially break down into 2 types. They both use heaters to thin the oil to a consistency similar to petroleum diesel.  Our system "thins the oil" through our simple mixture of easy to find ingredients ( no hazardous material licenses required ) and our special additive ( included ) which makes the fuel completely pure and stable.

Why haven't we heard of this before?

Apparently, this has been popular in Europe for many years.  Americans have enjoyed some of the world's lowest gas prices for years. However, recently you have probably noticed that fuel prices are hovering above $2.00 per gallon. This is due to many factors and will likely NOT change much any time soon. In fact, since Americans are becoming accustomed to seeing $2.00 prices, it is doubtful prices will ever be near $1.00 again. For those who may remember years ago when prices first topped $1.00 per gallon, it's interesting that the “temporary” increases soon became permanent. With our system, though, you will never have to shop for the best price again. You will set your own price, less than 50 cents per gallon.

The Europeans, on the other hand, have been paying over $4.50 a gallon for decades due to their high fuel taxes. Over the years, pioneering Europeans have used diesels to gain better mileage and many have read through their history books to recall that Rudolph Diesel, the inventor of the diesel engine actually used peanut oil to run his engine. The need for vegetable oil run engines never took off because of the, then cheaper, proliferation of petroleum oil. Thus, Europeans developed methods to use both fresh and waste vegetable oil to power their vehicles. For Europeans, and today Americans, the original intent of Dr. Diesel is becoming a reality. Today, we bring this method to America.
